Whiskey lovers and connoisseurs, get ready!

At Brother Justus, we're taking bold steps to ensure that our business continues to thrive, and focusing in on our biggest strength: making incredible, award-winning whiskey that honors tradition and innovates the American Single Malt category. That means we're making some changes - exciting, fun changes that will help us grow and flourish. We're looking forward to the future and sharing more about these changes soon.

As part of this evolution, our Cocktail Room service will take a pause beginning October 18. We’ll be closed temporarily as we refine, refocus, and renew our business. During that time, we’ll still open our doors on select days for bottle and merchandise purchases, with hours announced on our social media. And, by all means, head out to your favorite liquor stores and restaurants (in Minnesota and Illinois), or order online to get your whiskey fix!

  • Brother Justus is taking big steps to continue to ensure Brother Justus continues to thrive in the wild world of whiskey. This means focusing on Production and Distribution.

Where can I buy my whiskey?

  • In the distillery: bottles and company-branded merchandise are still available at the Northeast Minneapolis distillery during Bottle Shop Hours, Thursday and Friday, 2-6pm.

  • In 250+ retailers in Minnesota and Illinois.

  • Online at brotherjustus.com/shop, with delivery to 40 states.

Where can I sip Brother Justus Whiskey without buying a whole bottle?

  • There are DOZENS of bars and restaurants in Minnesota and Illinois serving Brother Justus products.

  • Watch for news about the ongoing evolution of the business; there are some very some very special things with Brother Justus upcoming for whiskey fans.

What about my Brother Justus gift card?

  • You can still use your gift cards to purchase bottles or merch in the the distillery during designated Bottle Shop Hours (Th-Fri, 2-6pm).

Will there still be special events and pop-ups?

Will the venue still be available to rent?

What about the Front-of-House staff at Brother Justus?

  • Our Front-of-House staff will not be working during the transition.

What prompted the focus?

  • Our goal is to continue to thrive in the wild whiskey marketplace, putting Brother Justus on the map. We’ve learned a lot about those who love our luxury whiskey through our own experiences and expert partners in the spirits business industry — we want to do the best-possible job of meeting our customers and giving all of what what they’re looking for.
