Nestled in a cozy neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, with the Mississippi just to the west, Brother Justus patiently awaits. An open space that naturally invites the elements of the outdoors inside.
Our home reflects the attention to labor we instill in our whiskey.
The space provides visitors with panoramic views of Minnesota’s ever-changing seasons from a whiskey room experience set inside the distillery.
Enter slowly into the world of whiskey. With seat-side descriptions of what you're drinking, it is a total focus on the experience. We have made sure every detail has been flawlessly executed.
During the first months of opening, the whiskey being served was made at Brother Justus in our original location.
In addition to daily whiskey tastings and tours, we offer a spectacular charcuterie board of meats, cheeses, fruits, and chocolates uniquely designed to bring out tasting notes of our whiskey by Chef Jametta Raspberry. Brother Justus is positioned to function as a new, unique way to enter the whiskey experience.
We invite you to come to enjoy our 14,000 sq foot space featuring an expansive brewhouse and the largest distillery equipment in the seven-county metro.

Your own personal drink stands you can position wherever you want, to bring you closer to others or to give you more personal space.
Your reservation lets your server know what you want so you can be served the way you want and lets you and your server practice mask etiquette that keeps everyone comfortable and safe. Masks up when your server brings your single malts and cocktails. Masks down when your are left to enjoy your drink in bliss. We’re following the Harvard School of Public Health Guidance for Health Buildings.

At the door, a beautiful sink awaits for ablution. Our entire wall of clerestory windows overlooks trees and hills, filtering the changing path of sunlight allowing for human moments inside volumes of space.
Over 250,000 cubic feet of fresh air immersing you.
Every cubic inch is ionized and filtered, vacuumed out, and replaced continuously with fresh air from outside.

Our distillery has evolved from an underground workshop to an architectural beauty with refined hospitality experiences. We increased our space by 10X and our production capacity by 20X. Showcasing our brand and belief through our expansive space along with handcrafted spirits, the ethos of Brother Justus is echoed through our commitment to full-circle engagement.
