Art of the Sip: Inspired by Justus
Join us to celebrate the Art of the Sip! Brother Justus and potter Samuel Johnson invited potters, ceramicists, and artists to create three different whiskey cups inspired by our distillery's core expressions: Silver, American, and Cold-Peated®. Artists learned about the distillery and vision from Founder Phil Steger and spent the last few months crafting pieces drawing on any aspect of the whiskey, such as its flavor, ingredients, history, associations, and more, that illuminated their creativity.
On December 12, each artist will exhibit their work and share the ideas that inspired their selection at a gallery style reception at the distillery, including renowned artist Richard Bresnahan, Artist-in-Residence at St. John’s University, first living pottery featured at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and subject of the Emmy-winning documentary Clay, Wood, Fire, Spirit. Guests are invited to browse the work and talk with the artists, sample neat pours of Brother Justus American Single Malt Whiskeys, and shop bottles and art. (Each cup that is part of the exhibition may be purchased, in addition to other work at the artists' discretion.)
The event is free, but RSVPs are requested!

Small Business Saturday in the Bottle Shop

Bao Bao Buns Dim Sum Pop-Up
Bao Bao Buns makes small-batch baozi in both traditional and wacky flavors, using fresh ingredients to create cloud-like baos. Each is stuffed full of flavor, for quick snacks, sit-down meals, and everything in between!
What to expect:
A 10-course Dim Sum tasting menu curated by Chef Ed Zhang
Full-Proof and Non-Alcoholic Pairings by Brother Justus Whiskey (available for purchase separately)
Please note that, due to the nature of the preparation, we cannot accommodate all dietary restrictions. Allergens and dietary restrictions include: seafood, shellfish, meat, soy, sesame, dairy, and gluten.
Price includes tasting menu, 18% gratuity on food, and sales tax. Dim Sum and Drinks will be charged separately.
Cancellations within two weeks of the pop-up date are non-refundable.

Naturally Nawlin's MN Pop-Up
We’re thrilled to welcome Naturally Nawlins MN to the Cocktail Room, popping up every other Saturday starting August 9! This family-owned gem brings authentic New Orleans and Cajun flavors—gumbo, fried catfish, beignets, and more—straight from Chef Shannon’s roots. Inspired by his mother Gail Ann’s cooking, every dish is packed with the comfort of a home-cooked meal. Savor the soul of New Orleans while sipping Minnesota whiskey, 2-8pm every other Saturday, Aug. 9 - Nov. 1.
