Nature Rocks Concert for Conservation
Brother Justus is the exclusive spirits sponsor for Nature Rocks 2026, a Concert for Conservation! Presented by the Long Lake Conservation Foundation, proceeds from this scholarship fundraising concert go to support children attending summer camps and outdoor school at Long Lake Conservation Center. The Foundation exists to support LLCC’s mission of inspiring a deep appreciation of nature, promoting wise use of natural resources, and fostering a lifelong stewardship of the environment. Brother Justus is especially thrilled to be part of the line-up because we source peat directly from Aitkin County, where LLCC is location, to craft our award-winning Cold-Peated® American Whiskey.

Minnesota Monthly Fine Spirits Classic
Minnesota Monthly’s Fine Spirits Classic returns in 2026 for an elevated evening celebrating premium spirits, cocktail culture, and discovery. Join Brother Justus to sample an impressive lineup of top local, national, and international distillers showcasing everything from bold bourbons and complex gins to velvety rums and handcrafted liqueurs. Guests will enjoy an immersive atmosphere featuring exceptional spirits, talented makers and mixologists, and featured food available for purchase from local restaurant partners.
The Crafted Cocktail Contest also returns for its third year at the Fine Spirits Classic, so be sure to stop by Brother Justus’ table to sip and vote to crown the winning drink!

5th Annual Green Door Smelt Fry
The 5th Annual Historic Green Door Smelt Fry is on Saturday, May 16th. The meal includes an all-you-can-eat original smelt fry recipe, dating back to 1958, along with chips, tartar sauce, coleslaw, and an orange drink.
We are anticipating and planning to once again catch the smelt directly out of the Beaver River this year as long as we get good weather and conditions for those smelt to run. Let’s manifest a good spring!
Ticket info: Tickets day of will be limited at $15.
Brother Justus Whiskey will be pouring our American Single Malt, Cold Peated Whiskey, and American Single Malt Silver Whiskey, and Black Cashmere Coffee Liqueur. We will also be featuring our Lavender Lemonade and Cashmere Russian cocktails. Plus, we’ll be giving away a 3-bottle basket in a raffle.

The Craft Whiskey Collective Guided Tasting
Chicagoland whiskey fans, join us for an intimate evening with The Craft Whiskey Collective at Subourbon! Our Master Blender, James Jefferson, and Midwest Director of Sales, John Ampe, will guide you through our line-up of 100% malted barley whiskeys, sharing how we think about grain, process, and maturation. This isn’t a surface-level tasting. It’s a chance to sit down with the people behind the whiskey and understand what makes our approach different.
